The People’s Vote 2025

The People’s Vote is a competition celebrating young performers in musical theatre and acting. Open to participants worldwide, this unique award allows the public to vote for their favourite performances, with the overall winner earning the incredible opportunity to perform live at the National School Theatre Awards in London’s West End on Monday 23rd June 2025.

CATEGORIES

Ages 11-16:

● Best Male Musical Solo Performance – People’s Vote

● Best Female Musical Solo Performance – People’s Vote

● Best Male Monologue – People’s Vote

● Best Female Monologue – People’s Vote

Ages 7-11:

● Best Male Musical Solo Performance – People’s Vote

● Best Female Musical Solo Performance – People’s Vote

● Best Male Monologue – People’s Vote

● Best Female Monologue – People’s Vote

Contestants submit either:

 ● A one-minute monologue (maximum)

 ● A two-minute musical solo (maximum)

Performances can be shorter but must not exceed the time limit.

With categories for ages 7-11 and 11-16, the People’s Vote shines a spotlight on rising talent and gives young performers a chance to share their skills on a prestigious platform.
